Lately, Jason has been doing everything on his Bach 37 Bb trumpet. When called upon, he also uses his Schilke P-54 piccolo trumpet. He can also be found using a Yamaha 6445 trumpet in C, a Bach model 239 long-bell trumpet in D, or a Bach model 304 trumpet in E-flat, with no plating. Once a year, Jason can be found playing his purple and gold soprano trombone made by L.A. Sax. Jason's mouthpiece of choice is his Bach 2C, with a 3C used on the smaller horns.
For small group jazz, Jason still uses the Bach, but switches to a Bach 3D mouthpiece.
When he really needs to sizzle up top, Jason plays a Schilke 14A4 mouthpiece.
Jason's flugelhorn is a 54R made in Paris by Antoine Courtior, accompanied with a 4½C mouthpiece.
What Jason Uses To Compose and Arrange
